Why the difference for members versus non-members?

Members have joined the family at Cypress Lake and already know the advantages of not just worshipping God, but being a part of loving, caring church home where together we love and serve God by loving and serving one another.  Further, the members make regular contributions to help maintain our beautiful church facility. 

Money has never been a barrier in conducting a wedding for non-members, and we would be happy to work with you if there is a special need, but we do charge fees in order to cover our costs for the pastors, coordinator, organist, custodian and building.


When are the fees due?

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your wedding date.  June and Spring weddings often book a year or more in advance, so be sure to act early.  Final payment of all fees are expected no later than 7 days before the wedding date.  The office manager or wedding coordinator will provide you with the total amount due.

What about the Pastors?

The Pastors rotate the officiating of non-member/inactive member weddings.  The office manager can inform you which pastor will conduct your counseling and wedding.  If there are any questions, please speak to the office manager or Senior Pastor.

What about the Wedding License?

NO weddings (except a renewal of vows) will be conducted without a valid wedding license.  We highly encourage that the license be provided to one of the Pastors as early as possible, but never later than the start of the rehearsal. 


Wedding Fees

When the bride or groom are non-members or non-active members, the following fees apply:

Use of Worship Center $300.00

Clergy: For counseling, rehearsal, wedding service $250.00

Organist: $150.00

Wedding Coordinator: $100.00

Custodian for wedding and rehearsal: $50.00

Bulletin (if desired) $40.00 (plus cost of paper)

Sound System Operator (if needed) $75.00

(If additional meetings or rehearsals are required, add $25.00 per occurrence.)

Use of the Fellowship Hall and/or Kitchen

When the bride or groom are non-members or non-active members, the following fees apply:

Use of Fellowship Hall     $250.00

   Kitchen – Deposit      $50.00

   Wedding Coordinator       $100.00

   Custodian               $100.00
