"In Loving Memory"
Judy may have had short hair and been short in stature but she was never short on energy, cheer, or zeal for the Lord in doing His work.
Her list of "works" is endless but the one she is best known for is that of Community Service Leader for the Bradenton Seventh-Day-Adventist church for more years than anyone can really remember.
When she wasn't giving people rides to church or doctors appointments, Judy's car was full of items for community service or furniture, clothes and food for someone in need.
At age 86, she could run circles around most people half her age. This energy came from a healthy lifestyle and love of life.
Words of complaint seldom escaped her lips. When she asked people for help with church yard sales, or other projects sure to benefit someone else, she never placed guilt on them, just expressed gratitude for any assistance though she usually did ten times the work of any other volunteer.
Judy was one of those people who if asked to help with something financially or physically, her response was always a cheerful and immediate "yes, I will be happy to do whatever I can."
The bible tells us that " Faith without works is dead " and that " by their works ye shall know them." By those standards Judy's faith was certainly on fire and to know her is to know the love of Christ.
Judy will be missed until we are all one day reunited at our Savior's feet, never more to be separated and to always have a smile, similar to one of hers, on our faces.
