A living testimony of faith in action, Reverend M. D. Miller and his wife, Marilyn Ruth Dyson Miller, have made Jacksonville, Florida their home. Affectionately known as "Bishop Miller", he has been honored in various executive positions at the UPCI World Evangelism Center and pastored several churches in the United States. A veteran missionary, Reverend Mervyn D. Miller has ministered around the globe. He has served as UPCI District Superintendent of Great Britain, the UPCI Regional Field Superintendent of the South Pacific Region  and is the former UPCI Faith Promise Director. United in faith, fellowship and love, our God-directed ministry at CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL will be a blessing to all who seek a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as healings, miracles and salvation were preached and practiced in the early church, so it is in this congregation today!

Pastor Mervyn T. Miller is an honors graduate from Johns Hopkins University Master's program in Education. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Pastor Miller is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), and son of former UPCI missionaries, Rev. and Mrs. Mervyn D. Miller. An excellent Bible teacher and minister of the Gospel, Pastor Miller evangelized in the United States and abroad for many years, first as an M.K. (Missionary Kid), and later with his wife, Sister Brenda Miller.

Rev. and Mrs. Mervyn T. Miller relocated from Joelton, Tennessee to accept the pastorate of CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997. Author of the Christian book, Walk This Way, Sister Brenda Miller assists Pastor Miller in the growth and development of outreach programs such as the Spanish Ministry, Sunday School and Ladies Ministries.  In addition to her key role as Music and Media Ministries Director, Sister Miller shaped and helped implement two pivotal CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL programs: FAT Fridaytm and Women in Christtm. Pastor and Sister Miller reside in Jacksonville, Florida and enjoy the fellowship of all the Florida District UPCI ministry.

Christ Church follows, believes and teaches on the principle that the Bible is the unerring and living Word of God. Christ Church administers baptism according to the Jesus-Name doctrine. In general, the goal is to be transformed through the renewing of the mind from a willful lifestyle of sin to a holy lifestyle acceptable unto God (Romans 12:1-2).
