You Are Invited To Sunday School!

Sunday morning in the Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m., an assembly of Adults, age 17 and above, receive "Deeper Life" instruction  from Pastor Mervyn T. Miller. In harmony with Pastor Miller, Bishop Mervyn D. Miller brings a rich heritage and a global accumulation of knowledge to the pulpit. United in ministry, the congregation is blessed with an abundant supply of practical Bible knowledge and productive Scriptural applications for a Spirit-filled daily walk with Jesus Christ. Sunday morning in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00 a.m., youth from age 6 through age 16 are focused through "Young Life" group Bible Study. Designed to encourage and to further their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, Sister Amy Osborne and Sister Tassie Byrd disciple and minister to the needs of our young ladies while Brother Scott Osborne and Brother Dennis Byrd disciple and minister to the needs of our young men in a Sunday School classroom setting.

Morning Sunday School concludes at 10:50 a.m., and  all assemble in the Sanctuary for the 11:00 a.m. Evangelistic Service. CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL young people are essential to our Music Ministry and are involved in several areas of the congregational praise and worship service. The CCP Worship Team is a blend of both young people and adults who are talented singers and musicians directed by Sister Brenda Miller. The Youth Choir follows the leadership of Sister Amy Osborne.

UNITED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH INTERNATIONAL



Each Tuesday Evening:
At 7:30 p.m., the general membership gathers for exuberant prayer in the CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL Sanctuary. Together with Pastor Miller, Bishop Mervyn D. Miller brings the body together in unison to fill the sanctuary with the aroma of fervent prayer. Tuesday night prayer service is open to the public.


Each Thursday Evening:
At 7:30 p.m. a general assemby gathers at CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL for an inspirational time of Bible Study. After a time of song and prayer, Pastor Mervyn T. Miller presents a focused Bible study to the congregation while Sister Brenda Miller teaches new Christians in our Foundation Bible study class. Bible reading from the Old and New Testaments through weekly Bible lessons and evangelistic messages are strongly encouraged.

CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL has a Bus Ministry in operation for services held Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Brother Ted Harmon faithfully serves in this labor of love and earnestly desires to help bring people to Christ. Brother Harmon coordinates the bus route to pick up people one hour prior to services and typically participates as a driver. A regular pick up schedule is available, and passengers are returned home immediatey after services conclude. Please leave a recorded message for Brother Ted Harmon at (904) 641-6539.

First & Second Friday Each Month:
At 7:00 p.m., CHOSENTM, Christ Church Pentecostal young people ages 12 through 36, meet for a CCP Youth Service especially designed to engage this segment of our church body. CHOSENTM enriches the spiritual environment for CCP young people outside of a Sunday School classroom or worldly environment and provides a wholesome outlet for personal growth and spiritual maturity. CHOSENTM encourages CCP young people to participate and have fun in Christ-centered programs and godly fellowship. Brother Scott Osborne and Sister Amy Osborne are the CCP Youth Leaders and teach a reverence for God, fervent prayer and a wholesome lifestyle. Brother Osborne advocates that nothing in this earthly life matters more than an eternity with Jesus Christ and ministers through the Word of God. Sister Osborne directs CCP youth in song and assists with youth activity planning and special presentations.

Third Friday Each Month:
At 7:30 p.m., a general gathering assembles to enjoy various works presented through the Fostering Apostolic Talent (F.A.T.) Friday service.  F.A.T. FridayTM is specifically designed to encourage the development of evangelistic ministries and wholesome bonds in the fellowship of Jesus Christ. Brother Dennis Byrd and Sister Tassie Byrd bring their unique talents and abilities to the forefront of this ministry with a celebration spirit enjoyed by all. Participants must be members of CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL and register in advance for scheduling purposes.
This informal gathering encourages personal enrichment and Christian based fellowship. All area United Pentecostal Churches are invited as guests.

Missionaries from abroad share their vision and ministries with CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL as they travel across the United States on furlough. Our church assembly matches their enthusiasm for the salvation of the lost and joins in their commitment and promises monthly financial support along with much needed prayer. CHRIST CHURCH PENTECOSTAL is a Partner in Missions with many diverse missionaries globally and hosts special services for Foreign Missions throughout the calendar year. Bishop Mervyn D. Miller presents special updates from the foreign field to the church congregation the first Sunday of each month, and Brother Bob Zoller shares news from the Home Missions department.
