Any of the above can be changed to fit your preference as long as it is within a spiritual context. The wedding ceremony is a time of worship and celebration. It is the intent of New River Wesleyan Church to maintain the dignity of a Christian marriage throughout the ceremony. Please feel free to consult with the pastoral staff if you have a question pertaining to “out of the ordinary” preferences for the ceremony.

 The wedding party is asked to refrain from any alcohol prior to the ceremony to reflect the attitude of God’s blessing upon the day and upon the ceremony.
