CUT IT DOWN AND PLOW IT UP

Apostle Tony Robinson

Hosea 10:12

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Fallow ground = currently inactive but with the possibility of activity; in the past it yielded much fruit but now it has not been worked for a time.

Things that cause our ground or heart to become hard and inactive:

Sin=violating God’s law

Unforgiveness=unwilling to forgive

Hatred=an intense feeling of dislike toward someone else

Anger=become annoyed

Pride=a haughty attitude

Jealousy= jealous feelings or behavior

Envy=not happy for others who succeed

Ungrateful= not thankful or appreciative

Unbelief =refuse to accept God’s promises

Bitterness= resentful: angry

Lack of prayer

Lack of love for the souls of your fellow men

Lack of care for the lost

Love for the things of the World

Slander/gossip= talk about the faults of another behind their back, especially with false & damaging info.

Cheating=deceive/mislead for personal gain

Lying= deliberately say something untrue

Bad temper= a tendency to get angry easily and suddenly

When these things are in the way there is no room for the seed to be planted which is word of God.

And it keeps us from being productive and fruitful.

When our hearts become hard of ruts, tall weeds, clods it’s time to cut it down and plow it up.

If we break off our evil ways, repent of our sins, cease to do evil, then the good seed of the word will have room to be sown, to grow and to bear fruit."

Isaiah 59:17

And he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head.

Ephesians 6:14

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Righteousness- will keep sin ,hatred, anger ,pride , envy, jealousy, unforgiveness out of the heart.

Breastplate- will protect the chest and the heart by not allowing sin to enter in and it will keep it out.

Helmet- hard protective head covering which protect the mind to keep sin out, so that the word of god can enter in.

Salvation- act of saving from harm.

SEVEN KEYS TO BREAK UP THE FALLOW GROUND OF OUR HEARTS

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my peoples ,who are called by my name , shall humble themselves ,and pray and seek my face ,and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven ,and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Humble- respectful, feeling or showing respect and deference toward other people

Key 1= Humility is a key to break up the fallow ground of our hearts.

Key 2= Prayer is a key to break up the fallow ground of our hearts.

Key 3= Seeking God’s face is a key to break up the fallow ground of our hearts.

Key 4= Turning from sin is a key to break up the fallow ground of our hearts.

Daniel 9:3

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting,

Key 5=fasting is a key to break up the fallow ground of our hearts.

Acts16:19

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of the heaven whatever you forbid [bind] on earth, will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit [loose] on earth will be permitted in heaven.

Key 6= Binding up things and casting them off is a key to break up the fallow ground.

Key 7= Loosing the love of God in our hearts is a key to break up the fallow ground.

OUR FOCUS:

We need to cut down and plow up and bind flesh and bad attitudes in our hearts.

We need to cut down and plow up and bind unforgiveness in our hearts.

We need to cut down and plow up and bind tradition in our hearts.

We need to cut down and plow up and bind rebellion in our hearts.

We need to cut down and plow up and bind pride in our hearts.

We need to cut down and plow up and bind haughtiness in our hearts.

We need to cut down and plow up and bind hatred in our hearts.

We need to cut down and plow up and bind division in our hearts.

We need to permit the love of God in our hearts!

When God sends the rain from heaven it will look for a ground that is loose, soft and ready to receive that which is from above. So, we must plow up the fallow ground so that the rain will not bounce off and go in another direction.

Word from the Lord:

I will pull the plow for you and plow the ground, but I need for you to point the plow in the Direction you want me to plow up and I will plow it up. The Lord said, I will plant the seed of righteousness in your heart.

Is This A Part of the Course?

by

Apostle Sabrina Robinson

The definition for on course is, in the right direction, or in a favorable position to achieve what you want to do or have been chosen to do. Many times when things are going right we automatically equate that with being on course. But when things are going “wrong” how do we equate that?

The truth of the matter is, when things appear to be going wrong, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you are doing something wrong. As I reflect upon the life of Jesus in the earth, who did no wrong, there were many things that happen to him that we would consider “wrong”. But, these things were a part of the course.

It was “wrong” to have the Scribes, Pharisees and elders scrutinizing Him and His ministry. It was “wrong” for Judas to be in His inner circle and walk close beside Him, and then betray Him. It was “wrong” for Peter to have received and acknowledged Jesus’ true identity as the son of God, and then deny Him three times. It was “wrong” for people to cry out with cheer, Hosanna, Hosanna one day, and a couple of days later cry out for His crucifixion.

When people do things that we consider “wrong” and we have not done anything, we must simply acknowledge it as being a part of the course. When people scrutinize you and/or your ministry, it’s a part of the course. When people close to you betray you, it’s a part of the course. When people recognize the hand of God on your life and then draw back from you when trouble comes, it’s a part of the course. When people are celebrating you one day and hating you the next, it’s a part of the course.

As a matter of fact, if we are not experiencing or have not experienced any of the above things, you have to ask the question, “Am I really on course”? Now this concept really doesn’t make sense to the natural mind, but God takes the foolish things to confound the wise. It’s the things that hurt, that don’t seem right, that makes no sense that really help us to evaluate whether we are on course or not. Jesus is our great example, and He showed us how to stay on course in the midst of rejection, betrayal, loneliness and suffering.

Man of God, woman of God, you are in a favorable position, stick with your assignment, and stay on course!
