After meeting in the bank building for a few months, we were able to rent a small Church building in downtoen Brunswick. We rented the Greek Orthodox building which had seating for 50. This was an improvement since we did not have to set up and arrange for every Sunday service.
This was a wonderful period of co-operation with the Greek Orthodox. They allowed us to use their building for Sunday and Wednesday and whatever other times we needed except for the ONE Saturday a month when they met.
We really appreciated the way they allowed us to use their building.

We started to look for land that would accomodate a portable building that would meet our needs for a few years. As we began looking we found acreage that looked good BUT we never seemed to find just the right spot. We then learned about the Trinity Southern Methodist congregation that was considering what to do with their property. We met with the chairman of their board and looked at their property. The acreage with a building that would seat 250 seemed to be out of our financial reach. GOD worked through them to lower their price to what we thought we could afford. The Christian Restoration Association offered us loans to accomodate our purchase of the property with help from the BB&T Bank.
