Youth News

Due to Thanksgiving there will be no extra activities planned so the youth and their families can enjoy the holidays.

Friday December 11th - Dinner and movie night 7:00-11:00. The movie will be Transformers 2.

Sunday December 20th - The Cookie Exchange directly after church in the Fellowship Hall.

To the parents, grandparents and guardians of FUMC: I have sent out a combined permission, release, waiver of liability, indemnity agreement, emergency contact information, and photo permission form to all the children/youth involved in the church. This form will be in compliance with the safe sanctuary policy for the protection of all.

The youth will be starting a new ongoing fundraiser through collecting used ink cartridges. The youth can receive money through a recycle program of these products. This will be a year round project. There will be a collection box for these items at the church office and in the vestibule.

Filling Station

The Filling Station is the brand new $500,000 youth center that opened the summer of 2009. more info

Faithful member of our church Joe Frazier left the funds for the Filling Station in his will.  Mr. Frazier started his business with just one filling station--thus the name of our new building.
