Welcome to the music program of St. Paul Lutheran Church!St Paul Music Ministry has many opportunities for members to share their time and talent with the Lord, with the congregation of the church, and with the community.
Cantors: Cantors at St. Paul are members of the choir who lead the Psalm of the Day for Sunday Services. Each cantor practices both with the choir and individually with the director. Curt Taylor |

Grace Notes, handbell choir: The St. Paul handbell choir rings two and a half octaves of Malmark Handbells. The ringers in this choir all have prior music reading experience. Practices are grueling every Wednesday, but the reward of a great choir is worth the effort. This choir rings at two services a month, one early, one late, and also rings for other special days during the year. Grace Notes does an annual trip to Vinton in January to ring for the Lutheran Home there.
Spirit Winds, instrumental ensemble: Presently Spirit Winds consists of 12 musicians on various wind instruments. Spirit Winds plays for both services on fifth Sundays of the month whenever they occur. Minimum of two years experience on your “axe” gets you into this group.
St. Paul Vocal Choir:St. Paul Adult Vocal Choir sings twice monthly during Sunday services and practices on Wednesday evenings.
Joyful Noises Children's Choir: The children rehearse on Sunday mornings at the beginning of Sunday school to sing during the regular school year. This group has fun together and adds an important and meaningful dimension to worship. What could be better?
