A PASTORAL PROFILE
Hale Anderson was born in Dodge City, Kansas, September 14th 1947, into an active church family. His Father was a gifted music leader, and his mother was active in the women's ministries of their church. He grew up in SW Kansas until the family moved to Farmington, New Mexico when he was about 12. It was from there he graduated from High School. While in High School, Hale felt the Lord calling him to service, but due to problems beyond his control that seemed impossible. So he had to set that decision aside.
After graduation he joined the United States Navy and served in the Navy "Airedales" as an Egress Mechanic. He later moved to Tucson, Arizona, where he met and married Marilyn Anne Carriker. They later returned to Dodge City where they began a new Life with Jesus Christ as the head of their home. In 1974, Hale again was being drawn in to God's service. In September, he surrendered to the ministry.
He attended Criswell Center of Biblical Studies in Dallas Texas. He served a small rural Church in Kingston, TX. While in school. Graduating in 1977 he was called to north central Idaho into God's Mission Field. He has served churches in TX, ID, GA, NV, and MO.
He earned a B.A. in Bible from Criswell Center, Dallas, and a Masters Degree in Ministry from International Bible Institute in Florida. He has served on the Lewis Clark Baptist Association Executive Board, And the Northwest Baptist Convention, Executive Board Administration Committee. In 1991 First Baptist Church, Orofino called him, where he remain their pastor. Serving there 17 years.
Pastor Anderson and wife Marilyn were married 34 years till her death in April of 2004. They have 5 grown children, 13 grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
