Dr. Paul H. Maitland Jr.

Sr. Pastor

Persons attending our church for the first time (or returning after a long absence) should know that we consider our church congregation a family.  You might be surprised during the "Baptist Handshake" to see more people hugging each other rather than shaking hands.  We promise to not overwhelm you on your first visit, but please know that we love having you join us

Some people are concerned about appearance too.  Our church's philosophy on dress is as long as what you wear appropriately covers your body, it is fine with us.  Many of our ladies wear slacks and our men wear slacks, blue jeans, or shorts!  We have others who wear suits and ladies who wear dresses.  Our kids wear shorts, jeans, sweats, etc.  Our feeling is that God doesn't look at what you wear, He just rejoices in you coming to worship Him!

During both the 9:15 and 10:45 worship service, we will be celebrating the Harvest.  The songs, scripture, message, etc., will be about how to see your life bear fruit for God.  If you feel your life needs new direction or meaning, come listen and see what God has in mind for your life.

At the 9:15 and the 10:45 service, there will be a nursery available for children under three and children's classes for children through the fourth grade.  Our nursery has a one-way glass so new moms or dads can be with their kids and still see and hear the service.

Between our services, at 10:15, we have a fellowship time in the Fellowship Hall.  Stop by and meet some people and have a snack and coffee.  We hope to see you soon
