VICTORY'S PURPOSE

To become a vibrant community Connecting with Jesus and His family, Growing in relationship with Him, Serving others, Reaching people with His good news, and Worshiping together in the joy of His grace.

We also believe that a great commitment to the "Great Commandment" and the "Great Commission" will build a great church!

GREAT COMMANDMENT:

Matthew 22:37-40 (NLT)   Jesus replied, " 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments." 

GREAT COMMISSION:

Matthew 28:19-20 (NLT)  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

To "love God with all your heart" is worship/honoring.

To "love your neighbor as yourself" is ministry/serving.

To "go and make disciples" is evangelism/reaching.

To "baptize" is to incorporate them into fellowship/connecting.

To "teach them all things" is discipleship/growing.
