May the grace of Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the renewing power of the Holy Spirit be yours this day!
My Life Changing Verse
1 Timothy 1:15-17 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

God Placed This Person in My Life Jerry Davis September 27, 2005
Every now and then some one comes along and makes you feel feelings you have never felt. Meeting this person brings thoughts that you never thought; hopes that you never hoped; dreams that you never drempt; and wishes that you never wished. Followed by prayers that you have never prayed, then even more feelings that you never felt.
I recently met such a person and along with all those things this person helped to bring a new passion and a new found compassion into my life like I have never known. This person has helped me to see and feel things that could only have come from God Himself.

God Transformed My Heart, Where’s Yours? Jerry Davis July 5, 2005
You see, I have always lived a self absorbed and selfish lifestyle, thinking of no-one but myself. If it wasn’t about me or if there wasn’t something in it for me, I wanted nothing to do with it. I never really gave much thought to the people in this world who were hurting. Homelessness, Hunger, Poverty, Addiction, Battered Women, and Abused Children, were the furthest thing from my mind. They were always someone else’s problem. Besides none of that stuff goes on around here, right?

Happy Fathers Day to my Dad, 05 Jerry Davis June 19, 2005
Dear Dad,
Tomorrow is Father’s Day and I wanted to take the time to write you a letter and tell you some things that I wish I would have told you a long time ago. I know that you are gone and that I will never have a chance to tell you these things in person, but I can’t hold them inside anymore.

You never know “Who” God will use, or Jerry Davis May 6, 2005
Ed is a man that God introduced me to today. Ed can’t work anymore. He has lost his part of a business that he worked many years to build and grow. Ed has all kinds of problems with his health that the doctors think it has to do with some chemicals that he was exposed to during the Vietnam War. Ed walks with a cane and the doctors have told him that in a couple of years he won’t even be able to do that anymore. They say the pain will be too much for him, and that someday he may have to have his legs amputated. He has many other health problems and is on all kinds of medication. Ed is going through depression and is discouraged. He is angry and feels that God has left him and has let him down. My new friend Ed really needs your prayers. Please pray for him.

Lord, I am learning of Your power To give me victory each hour; As I keep walking close to You, Your Spirit fills with life anew.
Recovery Thought: When we kept our sin silent, we withdrew from Him. We saw Him as an enemy. We took steps to avoid His presence. But our confession of faults alters our perception. God is no longer a foe, but a friend. We are at peace with Him. Jesus was crushed for the evil we did. The punishment, which made us well, was given to Him. He accepted the shame. He leads us into the presence of God. -- Max Lucado
