It has been said that Satan trembles when he sees the weakest saint upon his knees. That's not because he is afraid of us. It's because he knows that the power of God gives us victory over the works of darkness when we pray. That's why we have to keep praying in the good times as well as the bad, no matter what season of life we are in or what road we are on. James 2:18 NKJV You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble ! LORD, When I am weak and feeling hopeless, remind me that Satan trembles even when the most imperfect and frail believer is praying. It is a mighty weapon. Through prayer God gives victory over darkness for He is the Light. Amen.

Sent: Aug. 27, 2005 - My husband Ken has just recently had major surgery for the repair of an Aeortic Aneorisym. He is in intensive care and is in the hands of great medical caretakers and best of all in the hands of the good Loard. Please help me pray for the recovery of his body, mind and spirit. .....You see, this is a selfish request because I need more time with Ken so that I might give him more happiness than I have. With God's help, His Will and your prayers, Ken and I both will recover.
Prayer request sent: July 29, 2005 I need help with getting patient assistance from the company that makes my medician. I'm a single mother and have no help with any of my finances. I have Multiple Scelerocis. I've known for 10 yrs. now.I just recently was in the hospital because of an episode.After I discharged my Dr.put me on rebif.The only type of medication used to treat MS is injections. I give myself a shot 3 times a week.Every refill I get(1 box of 12 prefilled serynges)is $530.00. I thank GOD I can have something to lesson the amounts of my episodes,but as the cost of living increases it makes me think what am I going to do without this medication if I just can't get the money? Well,I know GOD will help me work this all out,I will/do see this. Thank you for all your prayers. Honestly, my church doesn't do anything to help me and I don't feel anything when I go to church (I think she means that he doesn't get anything out of it), I've not talked to my pastors regarding my situation. My economic situation is bad, the money is not enough, they don't have money to pay me, plus my boss is against me... pray for my children to go back to church and for my parents health and salvation, for a house, to better my credit, and a government job for Javier.
May 22, 2005 Father God, We come to you with heavy hearts, Lord, We lift up our friends David and Gloria, also David's mother, Jill. God We pray for Jill as she faces the battle ahead of her. We pray that You Lord would heal her body of this cancer. We pray that you would comfort her and give her peace. Strengthen her body and her spirit as she goes through the chemo treatments. Lord We also lift up David and Gloria as they watch Jill go through this battle. We pray that you would strengthen them and give them wisdom and words to speak to Jill as they go through this with her. Father, We also pray for our friend Tom Davis as he to faces another battle with his cancer. We pray for his spirit, and We pray that Tom would be able to stay positive. He has lost his part of a business that he worked many years to build and grow. Ed has all kinds of problems with his health that the doctors think it has to do with some chemicals that he was exposed to during the Vietnam War. Ed walks with a cane and the doctors have told him that in a couple of years he won’t even be able to do that anymore. They say the pain will be too much for him, and that someday he may have to have his legs amputated. He has many other health problems and is on all kinds of medication. Ed is going through depression and is discouraged. He is angry and feels that God has left him and has let him down. My new friend Ed really needs your prayers. Please pray for him. Holy and righteous Father, as I face the challenges of life, I need your strength. Please empower me through your Spirit who lives within me. Give me the courage to continue when I am tired, discouraged, and confused. Jerry, God's word is so amazing. Thank you for sending us your page. I know a young woman who really needs help. I'm going to get food to her for her three kids, but she's totally messed up. Wish you'd pray for them; Lydia, a junior high girl who's name slips my mind, Desirae, 4th grade, and Anthony, 2nd. They're homeless but somehow she's keeping the kids enrolled at school. Lord, I want to lift up my friend and the mother of my two beautiful children, Marcie, to you father. I pray for your healing touch on her body, Lord. May the pain from her arthrist be taken away and may the doctors find medication to restore her health. Give her strength each day , to face all that she goes through. I would like to add my friend Kenny, to the prayer list. Kenny is 11 years old and has been diagnosed with ADHD. Kenny is have a hard time in school and at home. He is a very bright boy, with alot of energy. Please pray for Kenny's family too. Lord give them strength and understanding. Give them the patients they need to help Kenny as he deals with what's going on with him. Father, help them to stay calm when things get a little crazy. At first Doctors thought that Mikie wouldn't make through the first 24 hours, due to the extreme head trauma, but by the grace of God and many prayers he is still alive three weeks later.Mikie hasn't been able to wake up yet and has a long road ahead of him but we are believing for a full recovery for Mikie.Also please keep Mikies parents in prayer for their finances as Mikies dad just got back from Iraq were he spent 17 months and has not found employment yet. He is battling cancer right now, and is having a difficult time with the effects of the chemo and radiation. It seems that just when I get closer to him then I lose focus and have to work harder to get closer to him again. I praise God that He has removed from me the desire to drink. But I still struggle with total surrender of other addictions. All He asks me to do is let Him be God and have His way.
