Phil Martin

Phil was born and raised in Salem. He was added to the staff of FCC, his home church, in August of 1992 as Youth Minister. In 2000, his role changed to Associate Minister.
In 2007 he became FCC's Senior Minister. He is a 1985 graduate of Kentucky Christian University (BA Bible & Ministry). Phil enjoys watching sports of any kind, St.L. Cardinals, playing golf, officiating basketball and soccer, and eating his wife's cooking ("but not necessarily in that order"). Phil, and his wife Kim, have two sons: Kyle (married to Caitlin, attending University of Dallas), and Eric (attending Southeast Missouri State University). |

John Mann
Student Minister

John Mann of suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania joined the FCC staff in March of 2005 as Student Minister. Born in Lincoln, Illinois, he is a graduate of Lincoln Christian College (BS Family Life). His wife Katie grew up in Washington, Illinois and attended Illinois State University. He played baseball at Lincoln Christian College and enjoys bow hunting. Both he and his wife play a variety of musical instruments which they utilize in the student ministries. John and Katie have
two sons, Nathan (b.'05) and Elijah (b.'08). |

David Jarrett

David Jarrett began his ministry at FCC in January, 2008. He and his wife, Kristin, have two kids:
Jackson (b.'05) and Kinsey (b.'07). David brings over 7 years of full-time worship and music experience. He graduated from Lincoln Christian
College (2002) where he met Kristin who is also an LCC graduate. They were married in 2001. David earned his Masters in worship studies at Lincoln
Christian Seminary in 2005. David enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, music, hunting, golf, and other sports. |

J. Edwin Smith

J. Edwin Smith, a native of Flora, Illinois, graduated from Cincinnati Christian College. He received additional studies at the University of Cincinnati and Lincoln Christian College & Seminary. Ed has
ministered with churches in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. For twenty-six years he was an evangelist/church planter for Northeastern Ohio Association of Helpers (NOAH). During his time with NOAH he helped establish thirty-two churches. Upon retirement Ed, and his wife, Bonnie, returned to Salem as interim minister, and helped establish the Senior Adult Ministry at FCC. Retiring again at the age of 75, Ed was honored with the title of Minister Emeritus. He continues to help in the ministry and work of FCC by teaching and calling as he is able. |
