1993 Liturgy Planning Workshop

with Dan Schutte

October 7, 1993, American Catholic Press hosts a workshop with Dan Schutte, for the benefit of parish choirs and music directors, especially in the southern suburbs of Chicago.  The workshop takes place in the cafeteria of Seton Academy, South Holland.

At first, the event was scheduled for the chapel, with a capacity of about 200.  Because of increasing pre-registration, the workshop was rescheduled for the auditorium, with a capacity of about 350.  Finally, the event had to be rescheduled in the largest space available, the school cafeteria.  According to the registry, maintained by Sister Joan Kalega, attendance totals 650 individuals from four States, bearing witness to the talent and fame of Dan Schutte.  A panoramic view of this full assembly is available online.
