The pilgrim who journeys here finds deep passionate living in the Now, the present moment, the best way to experience the presence of God.  Such a luscious embrace of the Beloved defies time and space, because the one journeying finds his hermitage wherever he finds himself.  Sacred and secular are but Yin and Yang.

Much of the call of this one is rooted in prayer--whether that be contemplative or active, a ministry of doing is but prayer in motion.  His best prayer involves not words, but standing still like a willow, allowing the tempest around him to buffet and blow, while he remains just-so, firmly rooted, yet flexible.

This hermit strives to dance with his Beloved in all he does.  He sees the world sacramentally--an outward and visible expression of deepest Reality.  He, likewise, celebrates holy men and women of various traditions, knowing they, too, are exclamation points of G!d.

His hope, is that through this sacred relationship, he finds himself transfigured, and that as a result, all around shall be so.  He strives to embody compassion by standing for justice and mercy for all.
