CONFIRMATION

CONFIRMATION: A one-year confirmation program is offered for youth in grades 8 and 9.  Three youth are now enjoying the confirmation experience!

High School Youth

It is a challenge to get busy high school youth together for regular church events, so we are trying a new approach -- an online youth group on Facebook.  If you are interested, you can visit our Lyonsville Church Online Youth Group at facebook.com, and request to join, or email Pastor Bob von Trebra at pastorbobvt@sbcglobal.net.  This group is only open by invitation from our Pastor.

Christmas Pageant

Children -- both young and old -- help to tell the story of the birth of Jesus that we celebrate at Christmas.  This year the pageant will be on Sunday, December 18 at our 10:00 a.m. worship service.  There are no try-outs or rehearsals!  All who wish to participate in the pageant are asked to come at 9:15 a.m. on that day to get a part and a costume.

                                     SUNDAY SCHOOL

Come and learn the stories of God and God's people!

Sunday School for preschool through junior high school is offered during the worship service from September through May. Children are in the worship service for the first 15-20 minutes, in which the pastor usually teaches the lesson for the day, then children are dismissed to their classrooms.  The first Sunday of each month is usually a Family Sunday when we do not have church school, but children are invited to experience worship with their families.  We hope you will join us!
