And then, of course, there's Sunday...

LOCATION:  We're just west of the intersection of 12th and State streets.

ACCESSIBILITY:  Our East Entrance is accessible and has plenty of handicapped parking.  We also have wheelchairs available.

TRANSPORT:  We will gladly bring you to church and back home.  Just call the church by noon Friday to arrange a ride on our van.

CHILD CARE:  We have a staffed Nursery during the first service and Sunday School, and activity bags for kids in the worship services.

Sunday Celebrations

9:00 Relaxed Traditional Service:  We call this service "traditional" because it features the hymns and structure many folks grew up with.  But it's "relaxed" because we have carefully drained the stuffiness from it.  You will discover we're not afraid to greet you warmly and you won't have to worry about a dress code.

Fellowship Time: Right after the 9:00 Service we gather for  coffee and friendly conversation.  

Christian Education: Following Fellowship we have Christian Education Classes for all ages.  We have four different adult classes.

10:00 Beta Bistro Service:  Beta is the second letter in the Greek alphabet and it stands for the next generation of worship at Union.  The music is contemporary, there is interplay between the pastor and people, and use of multi-media presentations.  Be prepared to sing, laugh, pray, and think, and to become part of a new family of faith. The service lasts about a half hour. 

We now call it the Beta Bistro, because you can sit at a table and have a light breakfast and refreshments while participating in the service!

Beyond Sunday

Sundays make up only about 14% of a total week.  But, being a Christian is a 100% commitment!  So, we've got things happening all the time that can provide you with opportunities for spiritual growth, loving service to the world, and fellowship that is purposeful and encouraging.
