THERE IS BUT ONE TRUE GOD a SHORT MESSAGE ABOUT ONENESS= (Deu 6:4 KJV) Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: (Zec 14:9 KJV) And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. (Mark 12:29 KJV) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: (1 Cor 8:6 KJV) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. (Eph 4:5 KJV) One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (Mark 12:32 KJV) And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: (1 Cor 8:6 KJV) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. WHAT IS THE GOSPEL? 1 Cor. 15:1-8 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: [5] And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: [6] After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. [7] After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. [8] And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. THE GOSPEL IS THE GOOD NEWS THAT JESUS DIED WAS BURIED AND AROSE AGAIN == TO SAVE YOU FROM ETERNAL DEATH IN THE LAKE OF FIRE..AND TO BRING YOU INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM FOR EVER. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. YOU MUST REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL 2 Cor. 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: IF YOU DON’T KNOW AND ACCEPT THE GOSPEL YOU ARE LOST FOREVER Ephes. 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN (JOHN 14:15)."IF YE LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS" GOD'S WORD IS OUR GUIDE FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING. IT IS INSPIRED OF GOD AND IS TO BE HIDDEN IN OUR HEARTS. WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN? IS IT NOT A PERSON WHO FOLLOWS CHRIST? @ Christian = (Christos); a Christian, i.e. follower of Christ . How can I show my friends that I'm a Christian? — JOHN 13:35 BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YE ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YE HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER. CHRISTIANS ARE IN LOVE WITH CHRIST AND HIS WORD. THEY SHOW THEIR LOVE BY HOW THEY TREAT BOTH THEIR FELLOW CHRISTIANS AND THEIR UNBELIEVING NEIGHBORS. JESUS ONCE DECLARED, MOREOVER, HE HAS COMMANDED US TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. 1 JOHN 5:1 WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST IS BORN OF GOD: AND EVERY ONE THAT LOVETH HIM THAT BEGAT LOVETH HIM ALSO THAT IS BEGOTTEN OF HIM. "I JOHN 5:2-3). BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE LOVE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, WHEN WE LOVE GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. FOR THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVOUS" 1 JOHN 4:20 IF A MAN SAY, I LOVE GOD, AND HATETH HIS BROTHER, HE IS A LIAR: FOR HE THAT LOVETH NOT HIS BROTHER WHOM HE HATH SEEN, HOW CAN HE LOVE GOD WHOM HE HATH NOT SEEN? HOW THEN DOES THE SPIRITUAL CHRISTIAN SHOW HIS LOVE FOR CHRIST AND FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD? 1. OUR OBEDIENCE AND LOVE FOR GOD PROVE THAT WE LOVE THE CHILDREN OF GOD. GOD COMMANDS US TO LOVE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST; THEREFORE, IF WE OBEY GOD, WE MUST LOVE THEM. IF WE LOVE GOD, THEN WE OBEY HIM AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER. HE DEMONSTRATES HIS LOVE BY KEEPING THE LORD'S COMMANDMENTS. WHERE ARE THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD TO BE FOUND? THEY ARE FOUND IN HIS WORD. SO THE CHRISTIAN WILL NOT ONLY PROFESS TO LOVE THE LORD, BUT HE WILL LOVE HIS WORD ALSO. THIS MEANS TO OBEY THE WORD. A PERSON HAS NO CHOICE; THIS IS NOT AN OPTIONAL COMMANDMENT. IF A PERSON IS GOING TO LOVE GOD... · HE MUST OBEY GOD. · HE MUST OBEY BY LOVING THE CHILDREN OF GOD ENOCH PLEASED GOD BY HIS WALK OF OBEDIENANCE (HEBREWS 11:5). "BY FAITH ENOCH WAS TRANSLATED THAT HE SHOULD NOT SEE DEATH; AND WAS NOT FOUND, BECAUSE GOD HAD TRANSLATED HIM: FOR BEFORE HIS TRANSLATION HE HAD THIS TESTIMONY, THAT HE PLEASED GOD" THE WORD OF GOD IS SELF-CONTAINED AND ABSOLUTELY COMPLETE, PERFECTLY REVEALING THE PLAN OF GOD FOR MANKIND. . " SINCE GOD NEVER CHANGES, IT STANDS TO REASON THAT HIS WORD NEVER CHANGES EITHER. MALACHI 3:6 FOR I AM THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT; THEREFORE YE SONS OF JACOB ARE NOT CONSUMED. (MATTHEW 24:35). HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY" LIVING A HOLY LIFE BECAUSE ONE LOVES GOD AND DESIRES TO PLEASE HIM IS A MARK OF A CHRISTIAN. OBEYING THE WORD OF GOD WILL MAKE THIS POSSIBLE SINCE THE WORD OF GOD IS RIGHT. THE WORD OF GOD IS ALSO PURE. HOW THEN CAN A CHRISTIAN ESCAPE THE IMPURITIES AND POLLUTION OF THIS PRESENT WORLD? HE CAN PURIFY HIMSELF BY HEEDING THE PRINCIPLES OF THE LORD AS WRITTEN IN HIS WORD. JESUS SAID THAT KEEPING HIS WORD IS A SIGN BOTH THAT THE BELIEVERS ARE HIS DISCIPLES AND ALSO THAT THEY LOVE HIM JOHN 8:31 THEN SAID JESUS TO THOSE JEWS WHICH BELIEVED ON HIM, IF YE CONTINUE IN MY WORD, THEN ARE YE MY DISCIPLES INDEED; JOHN 14:21 HE THAT HATH MY COMMANDMENTS, AND KEEPETH THEM, HE IT IS THAT LOVETH ME: AND HE THAT LOVETH ME SHALL BE LOVED OF MY FATHER, AND I WILL LOVE HIM, AND WILL MANIFEST MYSELF TO HIM. JOHN ALSO COMMENTED THAT KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS IS PROOF THAT THE DISCIPLES LOVE ONE ANOTHER 1 JOHN 5:2-3 BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE LOVE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, WHEN WE LOVE GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. [3] FOR THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVOUS. (II TIMOTHY 2:15)., "STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH" (PSALM 119:11)."THY WORD HAVE I HID IN MINE HEART, THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST THEE" JEREMIAH 31:33)."BUT THIS SHALL BE THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAITH THE LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; AND WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE" (IF A CHRISTIAN FAILS TO RECEIVE THE WORD INTO HIS HEART, THEN IT IS LARGELY INEFFECTIVE IN DEALING WITH HIS WICKED AND DECEITFUL HUMAN HEART. JEREMIAH 17:9 THE HEART IS DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS, AND DESPERATELY WICKED: WHO CAN KNOW IT? (HEBREWS 4:12). "FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK, AND POWERFUL, AND SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL AND SPIRIT, AND OF THE JOINTS AND MARROW, AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART" THE WORD OF GOD MUST BE HIDDEN IN THE HEART IF IT IS TO EFFECTIVELY ASSIST THE BELIEVER TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IN A MANNER THAT PLEASES THE LORD. (COLOSSIANS 3:16)."LET THE WORD OF CHRIST DWELL IN YOU RICHLY IN ALL WISDOM; TEACHING AND ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER IN PSALMS AND HYMNS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING WITH GRACE IN YOUR HEARTS TO THE LORD" (HEB 13:17 ) OBEY THEM THAT HAVE THE RULE OVER YOU, AND SUBMIT YOURSELVES: FOR THEY WATCH FOR YOUR SOULS, AS THEY THAT MUST GIVE ACCOUNT, THAT THEY MAY DO IT WITH JOY, AND NOT WITH GRIEF: FOR THAT IS UNPROFITABLE FOR YOU. 1 JOHN 3:14 WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE, BECAUSE WE LOVE THE BRETHREN. HE THAT LOVETH NOT HIS BROTHER ABIDETH IN DEATH. {BUT IF YOU DO NOT KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD YOU DO NOT LOVE YOUR BREATHERN} WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN? ONE WHO LOVES GOD AND FOLOWS HIM.[OBEYS HIM] (1 JOHN 5:3 ) FOR THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVOUS. YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN IF YOU DO NOT OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS! YOU CANNOT BE A CHRISTIAN IF YOU DO NOT LOVE GOD. YOU DO NOT LOVE GOD IF YOU DON’T OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS

SCRIPTURES ON THE NEW BIRTH John 3:1-5 (KJV)
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
YOU MUST BE BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT . Acts 2:38-39 (KJV)
