Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.the Prince Daniel 9:24 -26 Psalms 40:[6-8] Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened : burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. 7] Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, 8] I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.# This psalm is messianic These verses are quoted in Heb. 10:5–7, Heb. 10:5–7, Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Old testament offering would not be sufficient but only the DEATH of JESUS Heb. 10: 7 Here we see the obedience of JESUS unto death Then said *I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Jesus came to Atone for men’s sin’s. The prophets and Moses and Ps. Spoke of his coming to make atonement. It’s all about JESUS John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. Acts 26:22 -23 ( 8) There is no sacrifice we can make that would save us. There is only one sacrifice that will save and that is the DEATH of JESUS. 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. He take’s away the first (sacrifice’s and offering’s) there is now no value in them. He has established a new way which is by his blood 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Because of his obedience we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ.There will never be another sacrifice that will be offered for our salvation We are sanctifiedbecause of what he done for us .. . Through the offering of the body HIS BODY WAS THE DWELLING PLACE OF GOD. ,he was holy and he makes us HOLY.(Col 2:9 ) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Once for all Hebrews 9:28. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. There would not be any remission of sin’s except thru the blood of JESUS Our salvation is only thru him. Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Only the blood of Jesus Christ CAN BRING SALVATION TO MAN THE MESSIAH (JESUS) HAS COME . THE JEWS MISSED HIM IN FACT HAD HIM CRUCIFIED ARE YOU GOING TO REJECT HIM AS THEY DID . THE MESSIAH HAS COME and his name is jesus (John 5:39 ) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER OFFERING FOR SIN. . Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great , saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: 23 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
