Seymour First Church of the Nazarene

Give your life a push in the right direction.

ANNOUNCEMENTS For Sunday, November 8, 2009

SCRIP (Gift Card) PROGRAM -  Are you planning to give gift cards this holiday season?  Do you spend money at places like Wal-Mart, Chili’s, Cracker Barrel or Home Depot?  If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, consider purchasing gift cards through the church’s SCRIP program.  The church can receive anywhere from 2% - 13% (depending on the vendor) for missions projects. This is a great way to leverage your spending in a way that can make a positive difference for ministry.

SCRIP Cards are great to use as GIFTS, or use them yourself for MAJOR PURCHASES, GROCERIES, FUEL and PRESCRIPTIONS.  You get the full face value of the card you purchased and SCRIP makes a donation to SEYMOUR FIRST in the percentages listed on the order forms that are available at The Welcome Center today.  Cards are available for more than 100 area restaurants, gas stations, department stores and more!  Pick up an order form today, fill it out and return it along with your payment to the Welcome Center, the church office or Carol Hickman. See Carol for more information or visit www.glscrip.com to learn more about the SCRIP Program.

Your donations may be dropped off in the lobby from now until Sunday, November 22. Monetary donations may be given to Pastor Landon or dropped in the offering plate. Please write “Care Packages” on your check or envelope.  So...have you set your goal yet?
