Welcome

"Where Friends Meet and Become Family"

Welcome to our family! As a family we seek to make a difference with our lives by loving God and others. As a family we are devoted to serving God and others.

All of our ministries are devoted to honoring Christ through prayer, praise, and the life-changing Word of God. With the help of God's Spirit we seek to care for the needs of every child, teen, and adult. All of our ministry partners demonstrate the love of Jesus as they attempt to minister to people at all stages of life from the nursery to our shut-in care ministry. As you can see, our ministry is not buildings but people. We are here to touch people and help them be all they can be for God!

Throughout these pages you will find many opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth. If you are looking for a family you have come to the right place. Please feel free to become part of our family!

MISSION ANNOUNCEMENTS

Oakdale Christian Academy in Jackson, KY is collecting “Box Tops $ - Education” coupons. These coupons can be found on most Betty Crocker and General Mills products. They are redeemed by the school for much-needed equipment. You can help by collecting and placing them in the envelope marked “Oakdale” on the Welcome Center. Thank you!

The Missions Committee would like to have a display of the children that our congregation supports through Child Care Ministries. If you would be willing to lend the picture of your child or children for awhile, please put your name on the back of the picture and place in the container provided on the Welcome Center or give to Virginia Beard. Thanks so much.

PROJECT BARNABAS

Due to your generous contributions of material and sheets, we are able to ship: 7,700 Quilt blocks, 59 Sheets and 18 Pillow cases to missions. We are in need of more cotton material to cut into quilt blocks, as well as sheets and pillow cases for use in their hospitals. Our most pressing need is to have more volunteers to cut the quilt blocks. We meet on the first Monday of the month in the Fellowship Hall from 9-11:30 a.m. (unless it’s a holiday) then we meet on Tuesday. The next meeting is Monday, Dec. 7! If you have any questions contact Linda White or Maggie Ray.
