Vincennes Free Methodist Staff

Pastor Don Fausnaugh has been the senior pastor at Vincennes Free Methodist since July of 2006. He first became a Christian when he was 9 years old at Bethel Temple in Evansville as a child. After graduating from Greenville College he attended seminary at Asbury Theological Seminary. Pastor Don has been in full-time ministry since 1997, the first 5 years as a youth pastor and the rest as a senior pastor. He married Carla, the love of his life, on December 17th, 1994. They have three children: Collin, Elissa, and Caden. When Pastor Don has free time he can be found fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wonderful family.

Marilyn Strate serves as secretary at the church. She has held this position since May of 1998. She and her husband, Ben, were married on November 7th, 1969. They have one son, Jeff, who is grown and moved out of the house. Marilyn became a Christian in 1962 at the Birds Free Methodist Church, just across the Wabash River. She enjoys cross stitching and reading a good book in her spare time. Both pastors owe her credit for the smooth running of things in and out of the church office.

Pastor Aaron Zehr has been serving on staff as the associate/youth pastor since July of 2007. He became a Christian when he was 5 years old and was called into ministry at age 16. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University and graduated with a degree in youth ministry. He married Megan, the woman of his dreams, on January 13th, 2007. They have a daughter: Kaitlyn. He and his wife enjoy hanging out with teens, playing board games, and spending time together. Aaron enjoys music, baseball, football, ultimate frisbee, golf, and about any other sport outside. Every October he can be found rooting on the St. Louis Cardinals in the playoffs (on good years).
