Beginning Wednesday, June 29 there will be a 5-week Bible study about using our spiritual gifts. The group will meet at the home of Andy and Temple Gordon at 6pm and is open to anyone. Please bring birthday presents for the kids at the Food Pantry ages 4 to 17. This will relieve some Nov. and Dec. pressure for all the charities. A list of suggestions will be outside the Chapel on the table. These are suggestions only any gift will be appreciated. To show our appreciation, the UMW will be having cake and punch in the Parlor, just like the Baby Shower. So please think of these kids when out shopping next. God will bless you. Linda Schumacher September 18th, there will be a potluck lunch and silent auction immediately following the 10 am service. The proceeds from the auction will be used to raise funds for the kitchen renovation. Please bring a dish to share and submit an item(s) for auction that is representative of your particular talent, interest, skill, hobby etc. For example, some of the items from last year were tea parties, meals, pies and other baked goods, produce, crafts and sporting event tickets. The possibilities are endless. This should be a great time of food and fellowship with the added benefit of improving our kitchen. Please bring items the day of the auction if possible. You may also make arrangements with Pastor Larry to store items in his office. Cookbooks are available in the office or by contacting Marcy at 812-623-1584. Vacationing this summer?
