ST. XAVIER ALUMNI/PARISH BANQUET

PLACE: KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL - WEST 7TH STREET

      This festive occasion will begin with a Mass at 5:15 p.m. in the church, followed by an ALOHA gathering at the Knights of Columbus Hall on West 7th Street from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. A "cash" bar will be available throughout the evening for your convenience. Keep in mind that you're expected to come dressed in "casual" yet colorful type clothing…..in keeping with our ALOHA theme. For you "non-drinkers," the Committee will provide a non-alcoholic punch during this "happy hour" as well as some Asian-type dances for your enjoyment. We're planning on having this "happy hour" outdoors---behind the K of C Hall (weather permitting) with the catered dinner inside the air-conditioned Hall. Our guest speaker will be Jack Deines, PhD '55 who promises to really "lift" your spirits.
      Since our theme is ALOHA, we will have soft Hawaiian music playing in the background during the meal from 7:15 to approximately 8:30 p.m. The program will follow which will include introductions of all graduating classes ending in 5 and 0. We'll even give you some time to say a "few" words to colleagues, if necessary. Picture taking of individual classes beginning with '45,'50, '55, '60, '65, '70, '75, '80, '85, '90, '95, '00, and '05 will follow by Vickiboo Productions. You will be able to order prints that evening from the VP photographer.
      Most of you wanted to spend time visiting and renewing old friendships so we've done away with the dance part of this annual event. However, our music person is willing to play dance type music for your enjoyment during the picture taking. We can have the best of both worlds for just ONE price of $15.00 per person for an evening of fun.
