Garrett Boller, James Crabtree, Clifford Crabtree III, Aurora Cunningham, Elizabeth Hernandez, Stefanie Kane, Tabitha Myers, Raul Perez, Anthony Whitaker, Elizabeth White, Krista Wood, & Daniel Zoeller.

BITS 'n PIECES
Good news! The annual Alumni-Parish banquet and dance will be a reality this year.
Rather than an Alumni Association, Father Al Brungardt has given us the okay to modify our status to Alumni Committee as part of the Parish/School Council with Bernice Boller-Erichsen '48 as the alumni representative. Those assisting Bernice with the planning of this year's event are Karen Forkenbrock-Eddy '66 and Manny Pasquil '55.

According to Bernice who obtained information from +Josephine Casper-Hoover '22, the first alumni banquets were organized by the president of the graduating class. This included a dinner and program in the school dining room followed by a dance in the auditorium.

In 1950, +Msgr. Bradley asked Dorothy Walton-Gustafson '42 to compile a listing of all SX graduates of 1921 to 1950 and their addresses. She was assisted by +Dorothy Bramlage in accomplishing this successful task.

In May, 1970, Kathleen Healy-Kitzel '36 organized the first official Alumni Association at SXHS.

A big "thank you" is extended to Barb Houser for all the work and many hours spent updating the alumni display in the HS hallway. Thanks also to Bob Cervera '71 for his contribution to this huge task. Incidentally, Barb Houser will soon be a grandmother. Her daughter, Rachel Meseke-Castro '86 of Albuquerque, NM is expecting the new arrival in May.

The Alumni is hoping to put up a display of ALL SX yearbooks in the SXS library and the Geary County Historial Building. We need YOUR help in fiinalizing this project. We are in dire need of the following yearbooks: 1953, 55, 58, 59, 61, and 63. Two copies of each are needed for: 1965, 66, and 68.

The Alumni Committee extends a big 'Thank You to all alums that purchased raffle tickets for the auction held March 13th. With your help, more than $61,500 was raised to support our school.
