What is 40 Days of Purpose?

Together with hundreds of other churches around the country, Central is starting an intense six-week spiritual journey that will answer for each of us the question, "What on earth am I here for?" Between October 12th to November 23rd, our church family and friends will focus on God's five purposes for our lives, and we will seek to take steps of growth in these essential areas. Opportunities to Learn and Grow:

Sunday School

Eight different Bible study classes encourage participants to explore Scripture and grow in faith. Classes meet each Sunday morning for ages 2 through 102. Nursery care is provided. 

Women’s Fellowship

Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) meets the second Monday of each month at 3:30 PM. 

Adult Study

People of the Covenant are adult study, prayer, and share groups. We have two groups that meet during the week at the following times.

Sunday: 6:00 PM

Tuesday: 9:00 AM 

Youth Ministry

The following programs offer our children and youth Christian fellowship and a chance to develop and strengthen their beliefs. 

Christian Children’s Choir (CCC) is our elementary school ministry which meets on Wednesdays after school. Children study Bible stories, sing related songs in church once a month, and learn various musical terms and skills.  We pick up the children after school until 3:45. 

Chi Rho is our Middle School Youth Group, meeting each Wednesday at 5:30-7:00.  This group engages in Bible study, discussion, group activities, and missions activities.

Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) is our High School age youth group, meeting each Wednesday at 5:30 - 7:30.  They engage in similar age-appropriate activites to those of the Chi Rho and also go on a Mission Trip each year.
