Jesus Christ came to Earth to free us from our failures, our weaknesses, and from this world dominated by death and greed. Jesus came to give us the gift of abundant life here on earth and eternal life with God in heaven at our death. We’ve done nothing to deserve God’s forgiveness or the gift of abundant life. God simply gives them to all who will accept. At Crofton Christian Church, we strive to worship our creator with our heart,soul, mind, and strength. We recognize that worship mean many things to individuals; therefore, we offer both a contemporary and traditional worship service each Sunday morning, as well as small group meetings through the week to help continue your journey with Jesus. Crofton Christian Church is part of a denomination that gives us the freedom to be ourselves without being subject to stagnant doctrines or tests of faith, while at the same time insures quality local and global mission work, plus seminary trained leadership. We do not see ourselves as the only people of God, but rather participants in the whole Church of Jesus Christ recognizing other churches and their members. Crofton Christian Church has been in ministry for over 100 years. We continue to proclaim the timeless truth of God’s beloved Son Jesus and His gift of freedom. Mission Statement The mission of the Crofton Christian Church is to be faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ as we offer worship, Christian Fellowship, compassion, and Spiritual enrishment for everyone in the community regardless of racial, social, or economic background by: 1) putting emphasis on our youth, one-parent families, and our elderly, 2)developing lay leadership, 3) continuing support and care for one another, and 4) seeking the unchurched so we may further the Kingdom of God.
