Greetings in the Lord
Part 1 of 2
Jesus was born into this world for a sacrifice for our sins. His coming was not to judge but to save. “And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.” (John 12:47)
He demonstrated this statement when the Scribes and Pharisees brought to him a woman taken in adultery wanting him to place judgment on her (John 8:3-10). In Verse 11 he stated, “. . . Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”
His next coming will be to claim his true followers—known by many as the "rapture" or "catching a way."
I am praying for you,
Neville
HOW CAN I WORSHIP GOD AS I SHOULD? (Job 42:1-6)
Admit you cannot fully understand God.
Prayers of praise usually grow out of what you know about God’s attributes: God is holy, God is wise, God is compassionate, God is merciful, God knows all things, God has all power, God is pure, God is love, God is a friend, God rules over all. When you worship God, you praise Him for who He is and what He’s done.
But worship isn’t limited to what you know about God; it also springs from admitting that God is beyond what your mind can grasp.
One of the tough questions of the Book of Job is, “Why did Job repent?” God had allowed unprecedented disaster to fall on Job. Quite opposite to the explanations posed by Job’s friends, God did not condemn Job of sinful actions. Instead God asked him why he talked so much when he knew so little (38:2). God said, “shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him? . . . Would you condemn Me that you may be justified?” (40:1, 2, 8).
And Job repented—not for sinful deeds, but for assuming he knew more about God than he did. True worship stems from your knowledge of God, but also from admitting what you don’t know.

GOOD WORDS TO REMEMBER:
Job answered the Lord and said: “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. . . . I have uttered what I did not understand.” –42:1-3
TODAY’S CHALLENGE:
Write down two things you don’t understand about God—and then praise Him for His sovereignty.
