We have our new church organ in place. We are pleased to hear the music with this new equipment. The board approved funds for the parking lot expansion and the work has begun. They also approved funds for maintenance and painting in connection with the stained glass windows of the church. Please pray for the continuing efforts of our trustees to maintain and enhance our facilities as we attempt to grow God's Kingdom in our community.
Thanks to all who joined us for Vacation Bible School July 14-17. This year's theme was "Faith, Hope, and Love... but the greatest of these is LOVE!" We had several children ages 3-12 to learn more about Jesus!
Massac UMC was awarded as a "Four Star Church" at the Memphis Annual Conference in Jackson TN this week. The church also was given a cross and certificate as a "Partner in Mission" for its generosity throughout the year. Michael Blake, director of Reelfoot Rural Ministries, awarded the church with a beautiful angel bank in appreciation of our support. We are pleased to be recognized as leaders in Kingdom work in this part of God's vineyard.
Join us for our Sunday night services at 6 PM. We invite everyone to come and join us for this worship experience. We are also offering a Bible Study on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM. We are studying the book of Acts right now. Come join us!

Two new Sunday school classes have begun. Our children's class will be taught by Tammy Woodall. Our Young Adults class will be taught by Ronnie Hodges! Please join us at 10 AM on Sunday mornings for this time of learning together.
Thanks to the generosity of Ronnie and Jane Hodges we now have a wheelchair available for use at the church. We realize that from time to time people have mobility problems so we are thankful for this offer.
