How to deal with a Negative Situation!

Whatsoever things are of good report …. Think on these things.
All of us no matter who you are or who you want folk to think you are, because as you know there is a different. Someone might say, Pastor what’s the different between who a person is or what person wants people to think he is? Well the answer is easy “You Can control Who You are, BUT, You Cannot Control what People Think”
So, since we must deal with Negative situation I thought it would be a good time to give some advice on this matter. Is there anybody here today interested in how to deal, situation that looks unfavorable, situation that seems invincible, situation in which you can truly say look where the lord has brought me from, but player hater are saying you think your something. (Ex). Something the God made!
I. By Your Decision: Deut. 30:19. Choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
A. Some have a negative attitude. Their pessimism brings unhappiness to both themselves and others.
B. You can be optimistic. By deliberate action of your will you can decide to have a positive outlook.
C. A Daily decisions must be made to attain a positive out come. Concentrating on God’s good plan for your life will bring victory of Negative situation.
II. By Your Devotion: Psalms 119:11, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. [1]
A. Some people neglect their devotional life. Their lack of prayer and Bible reading, will bring defeat.
B. Devotion is necessary to positive living. Implicit trust brings peace. Love and joy.
C. Be faithful in your devotion. Keep praying and believing and you will always Win over Negative situations.
Luke 18:1,
III. By Your Diligence: Proverbs 11:27, He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. [3]
A. Selfishness lend itself to negativism. Some people are only concern with self-interests and they tend to become Negative when things don’t got their way.
B. Now the way to overcome Selfish attitude is to “Lend a helping hand, visit the sick and lonely, love the unlovable and help left their spirits
C. Sharing bring Victory over Negative situation. Proverbs 11:30
IV. By His Direction: Psalms 32:8, I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. [1]
A. Many people depend on their own power instead of just asking for and depending on God strength.
David said that the Lord is my strength. (Ex).
B. God is ready to do His part, the question is are you ready to do yours? (Cor. 6:1,
C. Let God lead and Know it’s Him that’s leading and directing you, then you will always win even if it looks like you have lost. (Ex). Proverbs 3:6,
