The Armenian Evangelical Youth Fellowship represent youth who belong to Armenian Evangelical churches on the east coast. Our main objective is to develop disciples of Jesus Christ. Our second objective is to build long lasting friendships between Armenian Evangelical youth. This is of course accomplished through our member churches, youth groups and the Union.
We are an affiliated organization of the AEUNA (Armenian Evangelical Union of North America). We are under the direction and guidance of the Union and its leadership, and we have a youth committee that oversees our events. This committee is made up of young people from the AEYF. They are elected by our constituents (AEYF members) every two years.
Our elected AEYF officers for 2006-2008 are
- Shant Orchanian
- Mark Dilsizian
- Christina Santana
- Darren Getzoyan
- Haig Kherlopian
This Executive Cabinet is responsible for planning our annual retreats. Our yearly events consist of a fall conference in October (for those 12 and up) a Seniors’ Retreat in February (18+), a Juniors’ Retreat in March (12-17), a summer conference in late June (12+), and three AEYF+ events (22+). Two Leader's Retreats and Camp Arevelk round out our annual activities.
