In Search of Purpose and Meaning
Many people spend years trying to find the meaning of life and the purpose for which they are here. Maybe you can relate?
We try to make sense of life through many different channels...
Music, Sports, Relationships, Sex and many other things that we believe will bring us to that place where we feel "at home" with ourselves.
Most people that I know share those same feelings, until they come to know a man called Jesus. Now Jesus is not just any man, but a mans man! He loved life and loved to live life to the full. In fact, He came to give us a life that is full of purpose and meaning.
Sometimes we get confused about the truth. We think that if we do enough "good things" that somehow we will attain God's blessings. The truth is, we can never achieve it of our own ability, but through a meaningful relationship with Jesus, we are able to live a life that pleases God and is rewarding.
