Men's Ministry

The men's ministry at Elm Street Baptist Church exists for the fellowship, edification and discipleship of the men who attend our church.

Men's breakfast, servant evangelism and various seminars make up the main thrust of this ministry.

Overseer: Pastor Nick

Ecumenical Singspiration

Our church is part of a group of various churches that come together monthly to sing hymns, praise God and enjoy fellowship.

This activity occurs on the last Sunday night of the month at 6PM. See the Activities page for date, time and location.

Overseer: Marion Pinksten

Woman2Woman

"As Iron sharpens iron, so one (wo)man sharpens another."

This ministry is for the purpose of bible study, fellowship and prayer.
At times the members will create crafts or attend various seminars.

Overseer: Amy Scarpa

Family Nights

Every Friday night at Elm Street Baptist is family night. Young and old come together for food and fellowship.

After supper we allow the kids to play games, while the adults go off to watch a movie or have a group discussion and fellowship.

Overseer: Salome Redley

Prayer Ministry

Several members of the congregation are committed to intercessory prayer. The prayers are received from Sunday morning services, emails and the web.

This group of people, including the pastor, youth minister and deacons pray for all requests.

Overseer: Pastor Nick

Ministry of Benevolence

We are responsible to manage our resources wisely to benefit the common good of our church family and those God places in our path, according to the wisdom He provides.

This is handled by our deacon of benevolence and the Pastor.

Overseer: Chris Johnson

Youth Ministry

Combining fun, fellowship and faith is what makes up the youth ministry at Elm Street.

What do kids like to do? Eat, play games and...hang out together!
These things are great, but in order to have balance there must be growth. We do that by using the word of God to teach our kids in a relevant way.

Overseer: Ben Echevarria

Elm Street Luncheon

Whether you attend our church or are just visiting you are welcome to take part in our luncheon. This ministry provides a meal, a hymn sing and a guest preacher to share a message from the Word of God.

We usually have between 30 and 50 in attendance and our members provide the food!

Overseers: Florence Snook and Marion Pinksten
