PRAYER LIFE
At present, there are two "prayer activities" available to the congregation, in addition to corporate prayer at the Sunday and Wednesday services. The first is the "Prayer List" which appears in the Sunday bulletin and the Shore Line. By calling Nancy Beckerdite in the office at 508-394-4222, you can put a name on this list for four weeks. If you wish to extend the time, call Nancy to do so. The other is the "Prayer Group". At the end of 2008 parishioners were invited to participate in a weekly prayer group. Several people expressed an interest and the first meeting was held in February. Since then, approximately six women, gather together at 1:00 PM each Tuesday to pray for our church, ourselves, families, friends, the community, and the world. "Prayer Request" cards are available in the pews and should be put in the "Prayer Request" box on the back
table. Confidentiality is assured. If you wish to know more about this group, please call Elizabeth Rixham at 508-385-7450. New "Prayers" are always welcome. Regular attendance is not required!
