a wide welcome in the wilderness

Celebrating the life of Rita E. Murphy

On the morning of May 16, 2009 we lost a faithful and longtime parishioner, Rita E. Murphy. Rita was a lifelong resident of Brighton and beloved sister of Margaret Lee of Scituate, Maude Olivier of Brighton, and the late Mary Jane Nix and Rose Maloney. She was also a beloved aunt of Tracey, Thomas, III and Christopher Lee.

Her funeral service took place here at St. Luke’s and St. Margaret’s (617-782-2029) on Saturday May 23rd at 10:30 am.  Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Brighton was private.

Seeking New Directions
