                                         Bible Study:  Thursday mornings at

Rev. Ted Walker will lead Bible study, following the scripture text from the lectionary, or the next Sunday’s sermon scripture and topic, if different from the lectionary.  Those of us who have taken Ted’s course look forward to another wonderful discussion of Bible scripture and our personal perspective.

                    Short Fiction on Faith

             Monday evenings at

Rev. John Brink will facilitate another selection of short stories that invite personal reflection and friendly discussion about the ways in which they inform and challenge our faith lives.  Tony Robinson says that although fiction is not true, there is “truth in meaning.”  We’ll see how that plays out in light of our own lives.  We’ll read a different short story each week, so you do not have to attend each class.  No book purchase is required.  Copies of the next week’s story will be distributed at the end of each class.

The Will of God, Answering the Hard Questions

                   by James C. Howell

            Thursday evenings at

Rev. Dale Rosenberger will facilitate a discussion about this intriguing book, a study to equip us for Christian Discipleship…What is God’s Will for me? we ask.  Why do good and bad things happen to us?  Each of us discerns for ourselves how the Will of God is manifest in our joys, struggles, and celebrations.  This gathering will provide the opportunity to both study and discern the Will of God for our lives.  Books will be available by the first meeting at a cost of $8.00.
