Fais-do-do 2008
As the old saying goes; "If you weren't there you missed a good 'ol time!" This was very true of March 8th's Fais-Do-Do Festival here at First Church. It was a fun-filled and high energy family fundraiser. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Gulf Mission Team, the High School Youth Group and our supporters the evening was a huge success. About 175 people enjoyed great New Orleans food, fun kids activities, a moving environmental film, mouth-watering cake walks and great dance music by the Swamptones.
