“The sun did not shine it was too wet to play so we stayed in the “NAVE” all that wet, wet Sunday…” to paraphrase Dr. Seuss; we did play though. “Are you smarter than a Confirmand/Deacon?” was the game of the day.  The Confirmands beat the Deacons by a nose and proved that they are “Smarter than a Deacon.”  

After church, everyone enjoyed ice cream sundaes, lemonade and coffee in Upper Fellowship Hall.

Thanks to Tony Matheson for accompanying the Big Group Sunday School Singers as they performed “I am a Promise” and “Our God is an Awesome God” and later together with the congregation in singing “Pass it On.”
