The Strawberry Festival Celebrated its 58th Birthday in June. The weather was beautiful, the strawberries were tasty, and there was not a mosquito in sight! It couldn’t have been a nicer affair for everyone involved but it couldn’t have come to pass without all the gracious help from so many. Thanks to the hullers, the whippers, the tent “stakers”, the shortcake bakers, the money takers and the clean up crew. AND THANKS TO EVERYONE who came out and ate shortcakes too! A special thanks to BEDFORD FLORIST who donated flowers for the event although, Mickey Webber and her wizardry with flora was missed. Thanks to Tim Mann for his lively melodies played on guitar and ukulele. Our profit (approximately $1,085.62) will go towards the Sara T. Stowell Scholarship fund and Camperships for the Nurture Board.
