What is a safe church?

A safe church is a church committed to creating and maintaining a community whose members, friends, staff, and volunteers worship and work together in an atmosphere free of discrimination, harassment, intimidation, exploitation, and abuse.

What has TCCW done to promote safe church?

Because we believe it is so important, Trinitarian Congregational Church of Warwick, Massachusetts has amended its by-laws by adopting a Safe Church Covenant and creating the Safe Church Committee as a standing committee.

What is the Safe Church Committee?

The Safe Church Committee is comprised of church members who help make and keep us a safe-minded and welcoming community of believers.  Committee members include the Pastor, members of the Board of Deacons, the Boad of Trustees, the Christian Education Committee, and members-at-large.
