Christian Education & Youth

Sunday School: TCCW's Sunday school schedule approximates the public school's: each year it begins in September and ends in June. Partway through the weekly worship (just after "Time with Youth") children and youth leave the service to attend Sunday school. In Sunday school, children and youth participate in lessons liturgically aligned with the worship service. They also participate in special worship services and they create many of their own missions and other forms of community service and outreach, such as supporting the Heifer Project, collecting food donations for Orange Food Pantry, initiating an annual bottle and can collection, and more.  In this way our children learn, firsthand, to be compassionate, responsible church and community members.

Family Nights:  Throughout the year, TCCW hosts social events for families in the community. There are games and activities for all ages and there's pizza too!  Watch your Warwick Community Newsletter and local newspapers for further Family Night details.

The Ways & Means Committee

Here is how TCCW's Ways & Means Committee raises funds each year to keep the church going and to support its local, national, and global missions:

  • Easter Breakfast - March/April
  • Dinner Theater - May
  • Giant Tag Sale - June
  • Ice Cream Social - July
  • Old Home Days Dinner - September
  • Musical Event - September/October
  • Apple Pie Bake & Sale - October
  • Holiday Fair - November/December
  • Raffle Calendar for the coming year - October/November/December

These events and activities are rewarding and fun.  Think about attending an event or even helping to plan and organize one.  For more information call the Metcalf Chapel (978) 544-2630
