Junior and Senior High Youth Curriculum
Rite 13
Rite 13 is a two-year program, named for the rite we hold for the children around their 13th birthday, which celebrates their entrance into young adulthood. Please keep in mind that this rite is not a graduation from the Rite 13 class, only a rite of passage along the way. The program is based on biblical lessons and related activities, and helps students learn about faith and worship and explore the questions that may face them in their day to day lives.
J2A
J2A is the second phase of the Journey to Adulthood Program for youth and engages youth with the skills and critical thinking involved in adulthood. The second year of J2A (2008-2009) will be Confirmation Class. These classes are based on biblical lessons, and helps students learn about faith and worship and explore the questions that may face them in their day to day lives.
