Awana Program

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in our AWANA ministry and how it can benefit you and your children. The word AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

We offer AWANA as a wonderful tool for the family from age 3 through twelth grade. Our club night is Wednesday from 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM and consists of three major segments: handbook time, game time and council time. Each club is specifically geared toward the needs and interests of the different age groups.

Handbook time is focused on reciting God's Word. Game time is for fun and learning good sportsmanship, while Council time helps to apply God's Word to our lives.

We challenge your children to achieve goals, build character and learn responsibility.

BCBC's AWANA program is actively involved with a yearly Camp Out, Bible Quizzing, Olympics and Grand Prix Racing.

Following are the clubs we provide:

Cubbies: At least 3 years old, pre-kindergarten
Sparks: Grades K, 1 & 2
Truth & Training (T&T): Grades 3 - 6
Junior Varsity: Grades 7 - 8
Varsity: Grades 9 - 12

Our goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
