My name is Gene Pearson, and I'm the Pastor of Christian Eduction here at Rush Creek Bible Church. As you take a virtual tour of the department, you'll realize how broad the ministry is and how lives are touched for the Lord Jesus Christ in so many ways.
In our Media Center, you'll find many videos, DVDs, CDs and books for all ages. Our volunteer staff does a great job of keeping this ministry current with recent releases and favorites that are requested by members of the congregation.
Our Nursery is here to help families by providing quality and safe child care during our services.
Christ's Kids meets each Sunday evening during the year. This is a time that the children are focused on how God is working through missions around the world. Mrs. Spooner leads the children in songs, prayer, and a lesson from the life of a missionary.
ACDC56 stands for A Club Desiring Christ - 5th & 6th Graders. The purpose of our ACDC56 group is to provide fellowship, friendship, fun, food, and Biblical challenge for our 5th and 6th graders.
Awana meets each Wednesday evening during the school year. The evening begins at 6:40 and ends at 8:15. Bible verse memorization, a lesson from the Bible, and game time are the three components of a typical night. Our Awana program ministers to children in kindergarten through the sixth grade. We also offer an Awana preschool program for the children of those involved in any of our Wednesday evening activities.
On Sunday morning, we have Children's Church for two and three-year-olds. In addition, we have Children and Worship for children four-years-old through the second grade.
