AWANA is an international, Bible-centered ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for children and youth. The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

Awana Cubbies is for children in preschool (two years prior to kindergarten). Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform this program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. Cubbie Bear and other friendly characters take preschoolers on a thrilling journey through God's Word. Caring, committed volunteer leaders from our church nuture your children spiritually as Christian role models and teachers.

Our Cubbies program is for the children of all those who are involved in any of our Wednesday family night activities.

The Sparks program is for kids in kindergarten through second grade, and it is firmly grounded in Scripture. Club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for kids. Each club night is divided into three segments: 1) Bible teaching, worship, award presentations and the gospel message. 2) Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons. 3) Age-appropriate games on the Awana game circle. Along the way, Sparky, the friendly firefly, encourages boys and girls to learn verses and complete assignments through the three handbooks.

The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third- through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. T&T is equipped with some great tools to help accomplish this mission: 1) Handbooks which teach the kids that life's ultimate adventure is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 2) Weekly meetings that expose kids to the gospel message, Scripture memory, Bible study, awards, team-oriented games and gut-busting fun. 3) A Bible-centered curriculum that helps kids build a firm foundation for their faith.
