Ellsworth Wesleyan Church

Resting in a community of century-old churches, you might think we present an irrevelant, century-old message. In one aspect, you're correct - or message is centuries old. However, in a society of "harrassed and helpless" people our century-old message possesses the one thing our community needs most...the message of the hope, life, and love of Jesus Christ. It's great being a part of a community with such deep roots...roots of family, church and tradition. All of these are what makes Ellsworth Wesleyan Church a great place to worship. Ellsworth Wesleyan is a place that shares the message of hope in Jesus Christ, equips others to live that life and serves from the love that comes from being a part of the Community of Jesus Christ.

 About  Ellsworth  Wesleyan

Our milestone of a century of history includes many advancements, additions, improvements and changes.  From our beginnings we have accrued three name changes:  1906- The Apostolic Holiness Church; 1941- The Ellsworth Pilgrim Holiness  Church; and finally in 1968 - The Ellsworth Wesleyan Church.  Though our name has changed the message has not; we, a century later, are still proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord.

We are so privileged to stand on the horizon of another century. May it find in us the zeal and passion of the past 100 years and the desire and perserverance of the next.  May our message be as Jesus said, " I am the light of the world. If  you follow me, you won't be stumbling through the darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." --John 8:12

Ellsworth Wesleyan Church exists to share the full salvation message of Jesus Christ and to equip people through Christian education and discipleship to live a Spirit-filled life: And we desire to serve our surrounding community by personal example.
