Journey with Christ through Lent
Do you want to be a part of a praying community, but feel hesitant to pray out loud? Or are you eager to learn how to pray in deeper ways?
As part of our community’s Lent observance, we will be offering special times of prayer. Each session will focus on three practices of lent: repenting, remembering, and preparing. Our prayer times will include readings, music, and meditations as well as times for silence and intercessions for various ministries of the church. You are welcome to come to any or all of the sessions. If you have never been part of a prayer group you are especially invited to come and experience the richness of God’s people praying together. Prayer sessions will be on Sundays, March 20 and 27 and April 3 and 10 at 4pm. Contact Renee Franzen if you have any questions, 763-535-6305.
Adult Formation Class
Sundays, (9:00 a.m.), the Adult Formation class will begin the third book in the Apprentice Series, The Good and Beautiful Community. This study will help us focus on developing our spiritual life together and moving toward fulfilling the second half of the great commandment: to love our neighbors as ourselves. This is a great time to begin attending the class, especially if you have never stopped in. We always enjoy interesting conversation, thoughtful Bible Study, and the real joy of being God’s people together living for the Kingdom of Christ. Join us, or contact Renee Franzen if you have any questions, 763-535-6305. We’d love to have you there.
