Easter Musical
Unfortunately there were not enough of you who signed up in time for us to prepare and present the Easter musical. I’m looking forward to trying again next year.
April “Monday at the Movies”
Join us Monday, April 13th and 27th for the great opportunity to see the most recent release of “The Ten Commandments” from Epic Films. It was in the theaters last winter, but didn’t make it to Spicer or Willmar. It is an excellent animated version of the account of Moses and the receiving of the Ten Commandments, along with the crossing of the Red Sea, the desert and reaching the Promised Land. It will be shown in two parts. This is an excellent opportunity to bring friends to see the movie and enjoy the company of our group! Don’t miss this GREAT movie! Lake Beauty Bible Camp
Are you thinking about summer yet??? Well, it’s almost that time… time for LBBC summer camp early registration, that is! All camper’s registrations and money must be turned into Paula Holmen NO LATER THAN Sunday, March 29th in order to qualify for the early registration discount. Our church family will help pay 1/3 of the registration fee ($95 for Trailblazers, $100 for Jr. High through Sr. High, and $55 for Joyful Juniors). There will be a 2nd registration collection date on June 1st, if you are not ready to register by April 1st. You can send your part of the payment to LBBC anytime up to the week of camp. Please contact Paula with any questions about registration or the church’s financial help.
Awana in April (and a Parents Night)
Our next month of AWANA meetings include: Apr 1…a visit from Pastor Paul, Apr 8th…NO AWANA (Easter Week), Apr 15th…Swap Meet 2 (bring something special to swap!), Apr 22nd …”Animal Kingdom” (bring a stuffed animal), Apr 29th…”Face Painting Night”. Don’t miss each Wednesday night…full of fun and great friends…and even a surprise now and then! J

VBS Alert!!
Gather your gear! Climb into your space suit! We’re off to crisscross the cosmos! Prepare for “Operation Space: A Close Encounter with God’s Word”. This close encounter with God’s Word will teach you about the Bible while exploring the wonders of the heavens! Be sure to put these dates on your family’s summer calendar…Monday, June 8th-Friday, June 12th . We will have supper starting at 5:30 and VBS from 6:00 to 8:30pm.
